The West Virginia Division of Infectious Disease, Promotion, Prevention, and Response protects the citizens, patients, and health care personnel by promoting safety, quality, and by preventing and/or responding to emerging infectious diseases, outbreaks, healthcare associated infections and antimicrobial resistance.
