About Us
The Office of Epidemiology and Prevention Services (OEPS) is a part of the West Virginia Department of Health, Bureau for Public Health. Its website contains information on infectious and sexually transmitted diseases, immunizations guidelines, cancer registry, public health informatics, and important public health events.
The Division of Cancer Epidemiology (DCE)
The Division of Cancer Epidemiology (DCE) is an all-site registry, collecting data on all cancers except basal and squamous cell carcinoma of the skin and in situ cervical cancer.
Division of Surveillance and Informatics (DSI)
The mission of the West Virginia Division of Surveillance and Informatics (DSI) is to maintain and improve data collection systems for the ongoing collection, analysis, and interpretation of health data to predict, prevent, and control the spread of reportable diseases.
Immunization Services Division (ISD)
The mission of the West Virginia Immunization Services Division (ISD) is to prevent and control vaccine-preventable diseases among children, adolescents and adults of West Virginia.

Division of Infectious Disease Prevention & Response (DIDPR)
Protects the community by promoting safety and by preventing and/or responding to emerging infectious diseases, outbreaks, healthcare associated infections and antimicrobial resistance.
