OUTBREAK OF E-CIGARETTE, OR VAPING, PRODUCT USE-ASSOCIATED LUNG INJURY (EVALI)

12/5/19: The West Virginia Bureau for Public Health has identified 10 cases of lung injury associated with e-cigarette, or vaping product use. Age range of the cases is 20-51 years. 80% of the cases were hospitalized for their injury. 90% of the cases reported nicotine vaping and 90% of the cases reported marijuana or THC concentrates vaping in combination with nicotine.
